The Tyris System
The Tyris System is Pax Autocratica's setting: fractured territories you raid for resources and citizens. Sector One, Elysia, is in the free Prologue.
The Tyris System is where Pax Autocratica takes place outside your colony walls. Multiverse describes it as fractured territories — the phrasing implies a system already broken apart before you arrived, divided among powers you are going to displace.
It is one of the game’s genuinely distinctive proper nouns, and one of the least documented.
What Is Confirmed
Section titled “What Is Confirmed”The Tyris System is the destination for expeditions, and four purposes are confirmed: gather resources, conscript new citizens, trade with wandering merchants, and feed the growth of your colony.
The system is divided into sectors. That is confirmed indirectly but reliably: the Prologue is set in “the first sector”, and the game’s top enemy tier is named Sector Overlords.
Sector One: Elysia
Section titled “Sector One: Elysia”The single most concrete piece of Tyris System information available comes from the Prologue.
The free Prologue is set in the first sector, Elysia. Your stated task is to manage and lead your citizens to spread your doctrine through Elysia and free it from the oppression of the current ruling power.
Two things are worth noticing in that sentence.
“Elysia” is not neutral naming. It evokes Elysium — the classical paradise, the reward afterlife. Naming the first sector you are sent to conquer after paradise is consistent with a game Multiverse describes as darkly satirical.
“Free it from oppression” is the framing you are given. You are a totalitarian regime liberating territory from another power’s oppression. That is the satire operating in the mission text itself, not just in the marketing copy.
What “The Current Ruling Power” Might Be
Section titled “What “The Current Ruling Power” Might Be”Elysia has a ruling power you are sent to remove. The game’s highest enemy tier is called Sector Overlords.
Connecting those two is the obvious inference, and this wiki is flagging it as inference, not fact. Multiverse never links the phrases. See Sector Overlords and bosses for everything confirmed about that tier.

Why It Matters Mechanically
Section titled “Why It Matters Mechanically”The Tyris System is not scenery. It is the reason the game has two halves.
Your colony consumes resources and needs population. The Tyris System has both, held by someone else. Every expedition is therefore a raid dressed as exploration — you go out, take what the colony needs, bring back prisoners to convert into citizens, and return to a population whose mood has been moving without you.
See exploration and expeditions for the run structure, combat for what happens when you arrive, and colony building for what the resources feed.
Playing It Now
Section titled “Playing It Now”Elysia is fully playable in the free Prologue, released December 2025. If you want to know what the Tyris System actually looks like rather than reading inference, that is the only real source available before August 10.
Bear in mind the Prologue runs at smaller scale and excludes mechs and late-game mechanics, so the sectors that come after Elysia may not resemble it. See Prologue vs Early Access.
