About This Wiki

About Pax Autocratica Wiki: who runs it, the sourcing rule behind every page, and why an unofficial fan wiki refuses to publish unannounced details as fact.

Pax Autocratica Wiki is an independent, fan-made reference for Pax Autocratica, the totalitarian colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid developed and published by Multiverse.

It is not official. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Multiverse in any way. All game names, trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners.

Pax Autocratica enters Steam Early Access on August 10, 2026, and guide pages started appearing months before anyone outside the developer could verify anything.

A number of them are describing a different game. Published Pax Autocratica guides talk about surviving the first twenty turns, adjusting tax rates, and co-opting opposition figures into a cabinet. Pax Autocratica has no turns, no taxes and no cabinet — it is a real-time colony sim attached to a first-person shooter. Those articles were written from the title and premise, not the game.

This site was built to be the version that does not do that.

Every page follows one rule:

If Multiverse has published it, it goes in. If Multiverse has not, the page says “not announced by Multiverse” instead of inventing an answer.

In practice that means this wiki carries no loyalty thresholds, no rebellion trigger numbers, no core counts, no Sector Overlord counts, no sector totals, no playtime estimates, and no price — because none of those have been published.

It also means the wiki says so out loud rather than quietly omitting them, so you can tell the difference between “nobody knows” and “this page forgot”.

Primary sources are Multiverse’s own Steam listings for the full game and the free Prologue: store descriptions, published system requirements, store categories, release dates and public review data.

The free Pax Autocratica: Prologue, released December 1, 2025, is the second pillar. Because a substantial portion of the game has been publicly playable for months, the core systems can be described from something real rather than from a trailer. Where the Prologue and the full game differ, Multiverse’s own stated exclusions are used — see Prologue vs Early Access.

Once Early Access is live on August 10, verifiable detail expands quickly. Pages will be updated as facts become confirmable, and the same rule applies: nothing goes in before it can be sourced.

Multiverse has stated that Prologue content and balance may change before Early Access, so pages that describe current behaviour are written around systems rather than numbers on purpose.

Updates land in news and patch notes.

If something here is wrong, outdated, or has been officially announced since publication, please say so — corrections are the point of the sourcing rule, not an exception to it. See the contact page.
